Add a KidKare Shortcut to a Mobile Device

Apple Devices

Note: You can only create shortcuts on Apple devices in the Safari browser.

  1. Open Safari on your Apple device.
  2. Navigate to app.kidkare.com.
  3. Locate the Share icon in the toolbar. 
    • iPads: Left side of the Search box at the top of the screen.
    • iPhones: Bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap the Share icon.
  5. Select Add to Home Screen. The Add to Home Screen dialog box displays.
  6. Type KidKare in the text box. Safari closes automatically and your device displays the new shortcut on the Home screen.


Android Devices

  1. Open a web browser on your Android device. You can use any web browser.
  2. Navigate to app.kidkare.com.
  3. Tap the Menu button in the top-left corner of the screen. This is typically a vertical set of three dots.
  4. Select Add to Home Screen. The Add to Home Screen dialog box opens.
  5. Type KidKare.
  6. Click Add.
  7. At the confirmation prompt, type Add. The shortcut is now available on your Home screen.


Windows Phones

Note: You can only create shortcuts on Windows Phones in Internet Explorer.

  1. Open Internet Explorer on your Windows phone.
  2. Navigate to app.kidkare.com.
  3. Tap the More button at the bottom of the screen. This is a set of three horizontal dots (...).
  4. Select Pin to Start.
  5. Type KidKare. The shortcut is now available on your Home screen.


Windows 8, 8.1, and RT

Note: You can only create shortcuts for Windows 8, 8.1, and RT on devices. You can also only do this in Internet Explorer.

  1. Open Internet Explorer on your device.
  2. Navigate to app.kidkare.com.
  3. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to pull up the App bar.
  4. Tap the Star icon and find the Pin icon.
  5. Type KidKare.
  6. Tap Pin to Start. The shortcut is now available on your Home screen.
